EMDR consultation is where you build confidence, clarity, & momentum—without practicing in isolation.

As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training, I offer a grounded space to strengthen your EMDR skills, integrate parts work & somatic therapy, and support your path toward EMDRIA Certification

Structured, clear, and collaborative

Grounded in EMDR fundamentals and real-life clinical nuance

Supportive of your nervous system—not just your technique

Honest and growth-oriented

Why EMDR Consultation?

EMDR can be powerful—but practicing EMDR alone can feel heavy. Consultation gives you a consistent place to think clearly, stay supported, and keep growing as a clinician so you’re not carrying complex cases in isolation.

 EMDRIA Certification

If EMDRIA Certification is on your path, consultation helps you move forward with clarity & confidence.

As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training (CIT), I can provide consultation hours toward certification requirements—and up to 15 of the 20 required consultation hours may be completed with a CIT (per EMDRIA guidelines).
We’ll make sure your hours are tracked appropriately and your learning stays aligned with the standards you’re working toward.

1

ongoing
support

So many therapists are doing deep trauma work as solo clinicians— without a place to process the “what am I missing?” moments.

Consultation is where you get to exhale. It’s a space to bring the clinical questions, the stuck points, and the emotional weight of the work—so you’re supported while you sharpen your skills.

2

parts work +
somatic therapy

We focus on how to integrate:

  • Parts work (IFS-informed language + protective systems)

  • Somatic attunement and nervous system pacing

  • Trauma-informed stabilization and readiness

  • EMDR structure & fidelity

So you can stay resourced, your clients can stay within their window of tolerance, and your EMDR work can actually move forward.

3

community + connection

Consultation isn’t just about technique—it’s about professional belonging. It creates a consistent point of connection with other EMDR clinicians, support for your growth edge, and a place to expand your referral network over time.

EMDRIA Approved Consultants

As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training, I’m deeply grateful to be mentored by three EMDRIA Approved Consultants who each bring a wealth of knowledge, skill, and diverse clinical approaches. Their guidance continually sharpens my work and keeps me grounded, supported, and growing. That same depth of mentorship directly benefits the clinicians I consult—because you’re not just getting me, you're getting the knowledge & support behind me.

Kendhal Hart, PsyD, LPC-S, LPCC

Kendhal’s trainings have been truly foundational in my approach—clear, practical, & deeply trauma-informed. I highly recommend her trainings for those wanting to deepen their skills in EMDR & IFS integration with more confidence & clarity.

ShaQuan brings an incredible integrative lens as an Approved Consultant in EMDR, IFS, and Brainspotting—grounded, sharp, & deeply attuned. If you want to expand your range and level up your clinical confidence, I highly recommend learning from her.

Rene’s somatic and culturally grounded approach, informed by his deep work with nervous system awareness and diverse identities, has greatly shaped how I understand embodied healing. Clinical guidance expands that clinical range & cultural attunement.
