My journey into counseling was deeply personal. After being diagnosed with a complex neuro-immune illness in my early 30s, I spent years navigating chronic illness, loss, and the hard work of reimagining life with new limitations. That lived experience led me to become an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor & Rehabilitation Counselor, with a focus on supporting individuals facing chronic illness, disability, trauma, and major life transitions. I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach grounded in IFS-informed therapy, EMDR, narrative and existential work, vocational counseling, and wellness/illness models.
