Let’s explore an example. Say we feel anxious about a big presentation coming up at work. We are sitting thinking about it the night before. If you paid attention to your body, you may notice a furrowed brow, a tightness in the jaw, shoulders up by your ears, heart pounding or sensations in chest, a clenched tummy and booty, hands in fists or gripping and a general tightening of major muscle groups. Essentially we are embracing for fight, flight or freeze. The body is responding to its natural response to stress...


To begin to alleviate, start by noticing where the anxiety is showing up. Gently remind yourself to SOFTEN, BREATHE into those areas, and REPEAT throughout the entire body 🧘🏻‍♀️ ...


Our body is often sending signals and clues as to what we need to pay attention to or what we may need. We just got to listen
